"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. "We were a family group of 10 and had plenty to do and plenty of space on the property. The game room, 2 pools, and, of course, the lake kept everyone busy. Numerous restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. The host, Johan, is amazing and very helpful. All in all, a 10 out of 10 property!"

"Th cabin itself is adorable. Nice location, but not too close to the water. Some amenities do not function as well as may be assumed. For example, the door to the sauna does not fully close from the inside. Overall the sauna is very below average. Also, the shower often does not have hot water. This is something to look out for. On the other hand, the fireplace is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The terrace is also beautiful - we had a lovely time drinking coffee out there...
