"A very nice place to stay in a very convenient location. Easily sleeps 8, 9 or 10 if you include sofa space. Nice size TV. Internet was good the first couple of days but we experienced a lot of outages a few days into our stay. Very good local shop less than 5 minutes walk and a similar distance to the local station which can get you to the airport or the city in roughly 30 minutes. Everything seems to be open late, even on weekends, so it is easy to buy things on the way back from a long day...

"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. "It was terrible. The description described another house which is next to the ones you're getting. You get three separate houses in which you can sleep in. They are messy, dirty and uncomfortable. You don't get a blanket or a pillow. Also the door leading to the terass is broken and they fixed it with a lath to prevent people from come in. Definitely not worth the money. We left and try to get our money back."

"Les propriétaires, immédiatement voisins, sont d'une extraordinaire gentillesse et disponibilisé. Malgré la petite surface sur le papier, elle est très très fonctionnelle. On peut y séjourner plusieurs semaines à 6. Elle est très lumineuse et la vue sur un bras de mer est sympa. Bien que sur une petite ile, elle reste très accessible depuis Stockohlm en voiture, en bateau depuis Vaxholm. Le prix nous a semblé contenu par rapport à la concurrence, et un excellent rapport avec la qualité."

It was a little disappointing as a Hotels.com Platinum member that I was not offered a room upgrade even though my friends in other rooms were offered an upgrade when they checked in before and after me.
