"My friend and I stayed in a private room with two single beds and a private bathroom. Our space was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the ease of checking in/out was so convenient—I wish all places just used access codes. Price was great and fitted us perfectly for visiting friends nearby over the New Year holiday. "Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm.
