"This is the best stay option in Bayeur. Isabelle was very kind. She came to the train station to drive us to her B&B. Her property is on a very quiet street. But it is so close to the Main Street and all the shops, restaurants, local attractions, all in a few min walking distance. The room is very nice, clean, and European which we love. The breakfast she cooked every day was so delicious. She provided many great suggestions. She even made dinner reservation for us as restaurants get full...

From the front door it was a 100 meter walk to the middle of Gold Beach and a 1-2 km drive or hike up to the cliff top memorial over Arromanches. "Sylvie and Jean-Michel were absolutely amazing hosts. They are a warm, friendly and engaging couple that love what they do. Their lovely B&B is just a block from the beach where you can walk or ride for hours if you choose. The room was private, delightfully decorated, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. Sylvie started our morning with a delicious homemade French breakfast complete with fresh fruits, breads, local cheeses, homemade jams, yogurts, crepes, and other delightful treats....

"The Victoria B&B is an outstanding property located close to the D-Day memorial. Our room was immaculate, very quiet, and had a view of the garden. The breakfast was excellent. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

Calm, quiet stay in beautiful surroundings.

"Beautiful hotel in a quiet location, with comfortable rooms and a very good sleep. We had a chateau room which was delightful and good value. Helpful and friendly staff, though we were caught out by the fact they don’t staff reception all hours, so you are supposed to let them know in advance when you’re arriving, if before 3pm. A few small issues: the bathroom had a bath with shower attachment but there was no high spot to hang the shower head, so had to hold it which makes washing hair very difficult. More than that, the handle was broken so the shower head just spun in our hands, and water went everywhere. Tricky to have a comfortable shower. Breakfast was not really good value for money; we’d recommend grabbing something in town."

"Price was right. Off season. Very small room with two twin beds. Sufficient to sleep in. Not sufficient for sitting in. Nice lobby with shared space with Mercure hotel. Amy was super helpful. We walked right next door to great restaurant. Le Bustrodome was recommended. Excellent food and service. Underground free parking too. Great find. "
