"My Mom, my sisters and all of our families enjoy staying here two years in a row to celebrate the holidays. The house is spacious and has everything we need for my foodie sisters to cook great meals. The property manager Faith is friendly and super responsive but we've only had a glitch with the Internet once. Mainly we talk to Faith because she's great about checking in and making sure everything is great. Highly recommend for groups or family gatherings. "

"Super clean, extremely well appointed, speedy internet. Very comfortable for my family of 5 plus dog. They even blew all the leaves away from the firepit area so we could enjoy. Everything was in good working order and well stocked with supplies. We did not bring a boat so I can't speak to the ramp, but the house was great. Wish all VRBO properties were this good! "

"We have been staying at the Great Escape every other year for three Thanksgivings. Fantastic place for extended family to gather for a holiday and family time. Plenty of space for cooking all the family favorites. Pete and Teresa are great hosts. Highly recommend."

"This property was perfect for our family to enjoy over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen/kitchens are well equipped and made our meal preps a joy. Everyone in our party really enjoyed sitting together on the back porch and watching the sunset. We all decided before we left that we will definitely be back next year! "Four of us women have been friends since we were teenagers..but have never gone on vacation together. Booked this place for our besties 40th birthday weekend. Very relaxing. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit was so relaxing. The stars were mesmerizing. Just far enough to feel like to see away but close enough for it to be convenient. Thankful for you all opening your peace out paradise! "
