"Quiet situation. The house is on quite a narrow impasse and the gate is not enormous. Anyone with a car larger than ours (Skoda Yeti 1m 75 cm wide) could find it a bit tight getting in and out. There are some parking spaces round the corner. All contact was with the concierge, timely and professional. The sea-facing terrace also faces north and can be bracing, but the one overlooking the garden is quite a sun-trap, and sheltered. There is adequate shopping in Asnelles with a small Carrefour...

"A beautiful, spacious house in a secluded, peaceful setting. The property was spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard. The host was friendly, welcoming and proactive before and during our stay. The location is wonderfully quiet, but remains within easy reach of the towns and sights of the area. I would 100% recommend this property and I hope to return in the future."

"Wat een vredige, fantastische plek, in een typisch Frans dorpje. Het huisje maakt onderdeel uit van de oude hoeve, is deels verhuurd (niet de eigenaar). Als vakantiehuurder heb je de oude schuur waar vroeger de karren stonden, dat heel comfortabel is opgeknapt, ook met familie meubelen, waardoor het een echt Frans karakter heeft. De zijtuin met tuinstoelen en BBQ staan tot je beschikking. Ook leuk met kinderen die dan met zijn vieren op de grote zolder kunnen slapen. Veel te doen in de...

"Enjoyed my stay in Caen: what a wonderful place to visit. And the Campanile Caen Centre - Gare hotel was a great place to stay. Although the room was small it was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, recently renovated it seemed, with a generously sized shower. The staff were extremely helpful, and the hotel was an easy walk from the railway station and the centre of town. "

"The flooring pattern in the sleeping room is identical as it is in the bathroom such as it is almost impossible to see that there's a step down. The first time I fell I was bruised and bloodied where my elbow tried to break my fall. After another fall at the same place, I put duct tape in the doorway to remind the drop. Otherwise, everything else was terrific, particularly the location. "

"We were worried about the walk from the train station with luggage. Yes, it was a little farther out, but our accommodation in the family apartment was worth the extra steps. The apartment was fully stocked, clean, and roomy enough for the three of us. We loved the family atmosphere."
