"Great place for a girls retreat. 8 of us ( all family) had a nice time. It was secluded but only 4 min from Lacon with a nice gift/thrift store, and restaurants, winery near by also. It’s on a wetland where you can go on a hike. Lots of wild life ( deer, geese, snake, ducks were seen) the house was stocked very well. Owner was easy to get ahold of. Great house great time! "

"The property was just as advertised. Upon arrival we were very appreciative of the garage, as it was raining that evening, and it was great to be able to unpack the vehicles inside. The view of the river from the deck was great. We did not spend a lot of time at the house, as we were visiting relatives in the area, but that would have been a very nice place to relax and unwind at the end of the day for anyone that would be spending more of their time at the home. This would definitely be my first choice to check out again for a stay in this area. "

"Second year staying here and. again, the property meets and exceeds our needs. Greg's place is a great home base to gather our various family's together from throughout the country for our traditional holiday visit home to Metamora. Being adjacent to the Golf Course I can imagine this would be a great spot for a golf retreat. We will be back next year!"

"This Property had bed bugs. When I went to the front desk they were not surprised and told me to leave. They said they would give me a refund but I booked through Expedia so we will see what happens now. "
