"A four night stay to celebrate a birthday. The hotel was chosen because of the position within the old town of Riga and the photos shown on the hotels.com app. Upon arrival the staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful. It was a superior double room which was a great size with really comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom with shower. A small sofa, plenty of storage and a desk. Breakfast was served in the bar opposite the entrance to the hotel through a covered walkway every morning from 7/7.30 - 11am. It consisted of fresh hot and cold delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. The staff realised it was my birthday from checking my passport upon arrival (without me even knowing) and surprised me with a lovely card and bottles of Prosecco to celebrate. A really thoughtful and touching thing to do. Made my day. Cannot fault the hotel at all, everyone from arrival to departure were lovely, genuine people. Fantastic place would happily come back again! "

"Stayed here before, and enjoyed my stay so came back again. Reception staff are so lovely and willing to help, as well as restaurant staff. Room had strange issue where reading light could not be switched on if main light was off. Also power sockets turned off when main light was switched off. This was a small issue, and did not happen last time. Overall a great stay"
