Perfect for visiting family in the area for the holidays
We loved our stay. Being located right off of I-5 and a great neighborhood to walk our dogs in up the hill from the place. The fenced back yard was also great. Very comfortable beds.
This was a lovely house with everything you need supplied. The kitchen is more than adequate for preparing meals. The best part of this house is the huge fenced backyard and the mid 20th century architecture. It's very close to the freeway so getting around town and into Portland was super easy. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.
This house was a perfect spot for our large family! The location is fantastic - close to the freeway, grocery store, and gas station. As has been mentioned by others, the driveway is quite steep, but definitely doable. Colin was very responsive and was an excellent host. Although the home does not have central air conditioning, there were three portable units which were essential and cooled the entire home really well! The fenced backyard was perfect for our pup and the back outdoor area has lights, a large patio table, and a gas fire area. We had a great stay!
Limited cooking utensils for someone who cooks. Found it difficult to make a meal for a large family with the small pots and pans provided. A majority of the French is falling down, was held up by large stumps and, we found, so corn hole bistds that we thought were for our use. Nope they were holding boards in place. Our dog could have escaped. Lawn was dead. Otherwise home was nice and clean

I wrote to the owner with my laundry list of disbelief about his property yesterday, and he didn't respond back with an apology or acknowledgement, so I'll write the review. The house had ants throughout the kitchen and the bed in the back bedroom where I stayed. The ants were looking for water (and food). We kept all our food in the fridge. Any food on the counter was ravaged. The house has had updates, but it is far more rustic and DIY than photos show. The driveway parking is steep, dangerous and barely accessible. The street parking is also inadequate and difficult to maneuver into. The neighborhood is unattractive and not vacation worthy. The backyard butts up against an apartment building with tenants' windows looking into the backyard. There were no mirrors or nightstand lamps in two bedrooms, so no reading when getting in bed and no ability to get ready for the day without heading to the mirror in the living room. The bathroom is the size of a postage stamp with inadequate shelving. The toilet seat is your option. In the summer, they put in large loud blowers vented out the windows. Because they're vented out the windows, you can hear I-5 and Main Street traffic roaring by. There are not screens or window coverings on some key windows for privacy and ventilation. I'd like to say the price is right for what you get, but my family and I were not comfortable there no matter the price.
The property itself was clean. Everything worked. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing is the driveway is a bit steep and a little scary to back down. But we knew about it before we arrived. We were very happy that the heat worked as it got quite cold on our trip and it was a great location and very convenient for our stay. The host communicated well and we had a good trip.
This was a cute bungalow. House was clean, the back yard was great for the dog. Near lots of things and we found some walking trails nearby. Would definitely stay again.
This was a great house in a nice location central to Portland and Seattle. The bedrooms were quite comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and it has a nice BIG yard. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, and the pet-policy is great. I will definitely stay here again.
