In the spring and summer, enjoy the pontoon, fire pit, paddle boards, kayaks, swimming and private yard.

Looking for a beautiful and quiet place to enjoy the fall or winter??
In the fall and winter, enjoy the crisp fresh air, bonfires, beautiful scenery and adorable wildlife!

How does the tranquil, relaxing scenery of a lakefront house with a pontoon sound? If you like city life as well, don't worry... downtown Valparaiso is only 10 minutes away!!

May 2025 - September 30th, 2025 all rentals INCLUDE the use of the private pier and red 2018 18ft Sun Tracker pontoon with a 60hp engine!! Fuel for the pontoon and lifejackets for each guest are also included. Guests that plan on using the pontoon, must sign boat rental agreement and boater safety instructions. We cannot guarantee rentals in March 2025, April 2025 & October 2025 will include the pontoon. It depends on the weather. THIS IS WHY PRICES ARE CHEAPER IN MARCH, APRIL & OCTOBER!

Leah's Lakehouse offers a breathtaking view of Flint Lake from the house, deck, patio and yard. With depths as deep as 75 feet, this 90 acre, all natural, spring fed lake offers phenomenal fishing year round!

Being recently remodeled and renovated, you will experience all the modern conveniences of a new home coupled with the quaint charm of a country lakehouse.

Fisherman come from all over to fish Flint Lake. The fishing, especially bass fishing, has been incredible this season. There are also northern, perch, catfish and other fish in the lake.

** THE HOUSE CAN ONLY HOLD 6 PEOPLE TOTAL. Parties, family gatherings, additional family members, additional friends, are not allowed if it means more than 6 people will be at house. This includes “just for the day” or “just for a few hours.”

** Don’t forgot to bring your beach towels!

** If you plan on fishing from the yard or pontoon, make sure you have an Indiana fishing license!

** If you are staying more than a couple day, we will come by early in the morning to check/fill the gas tank (we will not disturb you). DO NOT fill the gas tank.

** Due to the pontoon, paddle boards, kayaks, etc., the yards are equipped with two security cameras.

** If you are unsure if your rental includes the use of the pontoon, please send me a message. March, April and October rentals will include the pontoon WEATHER PERMITTING. If it is below freezing or there is snow in the forecast, the pontoon CANNOT be in the water.

Wonderful time
From communication to accommodations it was tops. Weather was rough for 1 of the days , however, the house was so comfortable it wasn’t a bother. I would recommend this listing for anyone who would like a place to gather with family or friends.

Great location/beautiful lake
Property was great for our family to gather and enjoy visiting with one and other. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and pontoon boat. Weather was perfect for sitting outdoors.

Leah’s Lake house was a wonderful retreat, pontoon boat and all. The property is exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The lake is peaceful and a perfect place to stay while enjoying the sites in and around Valparaiso.

Good house for family of four
The house was a good stay for a family of four. Two bedrooms, but each parent took a kid and it was fine. Backyard would have been fine for them if it hadn't rained. Tub/shower worked fine for them. Good place to stay.

The pontoon was a great bonus! Lake house was nice and cozy. We enjoyed fishing but didn’t have that much luck catching keepers.

Wonderful escapism
Leah's place provided a much needed respite. The place was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Our toddler had a great time with the toys and games. This time of year it was very peaceful and extremely quiet. We'd love to come back during boating season!

Wonderful trip. Great lake. Fun times on the boat! House is exactly as pictured. The house does have a very unique "lake house" smell but you quit noticing after a few minutes in the house. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating.

Weekend getaway
We had a great time at Leah’s Lakehouse for a weekend getaway! Leah’s rental was clean and suited our family well. The house had games to play when we had rain. We fished and had multiple boat rides on Flint Lake. They even thought of stuff you didn’t bring or forgot! Great people to work with. I would highly recommend this as a rental and we will be back!

Great weekend on the water
Leah was nothing short of great to us. This was a lovely cottage just steps away from the lake. And the pontoon boat?!? What great fun. If you’re looking for a chance to fish and swim in a nice small lake, RENT THIS COTTAGE! We will definitely come back to this place. Just an hour drive from Chicago, and the owner is a helpful, professional person!

The house was nice on the inside but registers, vents and windowsills were pretty dirty. It would have been nice to have bedside lamps instead of only the overhead light. It was great to be so close to the water and have access to the pontoon.

Loved Leah's Lakehouse
We spent four relaxing days at Leah's Lakehouse. The hospitality shown by the owners was fantastic. The lake view was perfect and we enjoyed many relaxing boat rides on the well-maintained pontoon boat. A special bonus was listening to and watching the variety of birds each morning while enjoying coffee on the beautiful new deck. But it's not just great outside! Leah has new family room furniture, comfortable new beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a bunch of games if you are so inclined. We are already planning our next trip to Leah's Lakehouse!

Leah's Lakehouse delivers what it promises
Just finished a 9 day stay at Leah's Lakehouse. The VRBO site and pictures accurately represent the property, amenities and condition. It is located on a private lane on beautiful Flint Lake, includes a recent model pontoon boat for lake cruising and is a quiet, relaxing atmosphere just a few minutes from town and local restaurants and businesses. The property owners were pleasant to work with, immediately responded to all communications and questions. You can tell they take great pride in their property and enjoy sharing it with their VRBO customers. Property was clean, well furnished and we enjoyed our time at the lake.

Great Lakehouse and boat included
We enjoyed this simple yet very comfy 2 bedroom Lakehouse that includes pontoon. On hot days we fished and floated in lovely Flint lake, on rainy days we enjoyed breweries, taphouses, giftshops, and college campus that Valparaiso has to offer. The frontage has a mud bottom so for swimming you want to jump off the pontoon and be comfortable in life jackets or noodles. Boat is in great shape and house AC and wifi were excellent when needed. Kayaks and paddle boards a big hit for my 11 year old twins. Highly recommend this rental for an easy Lakehouse getaway.

Summer Weekend
The property was clean, the check in process was very smooth. The kitchen has very limited pots and pans, so if you are going to be cooking rather than grilling you may want to bring some pans/cookie sheets, etc. The lake was much smaller than we expected. It was a nice weekend, very quiet neighborhood and lake. The owner told us the neighbors on both sides did not like them, due to the fact it is the only house on the lake people can rent through a vacation rental site.....which made us uncomfortable. The price of the property was not worth the stay. I would not go back.

Nice lake getaway
Cute cottage. Sleeping 6 is a bit of a stretch in the 2 full beds & couch pull-out. We had 5 adults by adding 2 air mattresses. Boat is a big plus & fishing lake is quiet, calm & easy for novice boaters. House was clean & well-stocked. Gave 4 stars on cleanliness. Wanted windows opened for fresh air, but windows were full of old leaves & debris. Outdoor furniture needed wiping down prior to use. Boat also needed a good vacuuming/cleaning. Otherwise no complaints. Leah & her father Kirk very helpful with early check in & boat instructions.
