"The beach is just a 10 min walk, the water is cristal clear and the costal hiking way a nice mixture of history and nature. We stayed here after visiting Paestum (short drive)and after a warm wellcome we got a very unique pizza to taste. Being out of the main holiday season the area was quite with only one restaurant open in Ascea - but this had the advantage that the roads were quite. The hotel is only a short distance from the railway station meaning that it was easy to transport bikes."
