"Nice cozy hotel in town centre - short walking distance to main square, shopping street and two Gothic churches (seemingly always closed)…. Excellent rich breakfast, but ONLY till 9:30 sharp. "The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....

"We stayed in two rooms as the first one was at the end of the corridor and you got disturbed by people using the stairs which were right on the other side of the wall. It was obvious the rooms were in older buildings which meant you could hear the other guests in corridor. There was no kettle or tea/coffee things in the room something I would expect 4 star accomodation to have. Reception did lend us a kettle once we mentioned this. The restaurant serves excellent food at a 4 star accomodation...

"We found this place by chance and were glad we did. It was lovely! Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character.
