"to begin with I have to admit I liked the 501 against my better judgement at times but the location and views allows a lot to be forgiven. I can imagine the 501 in its glory days would have been spectacular. the architecture is still on place and quality never goes out of style. however the old girl does look a little tired and could benefit from a little renovation in places. the staff, mainly Italian or course and many locals, can be a little abrupt or disinterested when they are busy...

Ma... pensavamo di avere un alloggio di due camere (cioè due stanze climatizzate con letti non a castello in un unico alloggio), ma abbiamo avuto una camera e due letti a castello in un disimpegno con finestra/balcone. "Loved this little place!!! What a find! The drive in was interesting, is it is at the end of an indistrial estate, but once you get there you are literally on the beach! It was fabulous and we only wish we had another few days. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we had a wonderul room. However, the cleanliness in the dining room was rather poor. The tables never got cleaned properly. The crumbs were just brushed of the table so it was left very sticky. I always used alcohol hand gel during breakfast. The cudlery could have also been cleaner. Please provide more napkins or serviettes during dinner. Change the cerial or bread at breafast time occasionally. The evening dinner was always very delicious. A large variety...

"Fairly new hotel and is run by very pleasant family who really seems to love what the do. Very clean and well kept all over. Some minor renovations happening on floors at top but no need to worry, the floors that are occupied are immaculate. Beach is just across the street and down the lane. Coffees in morning were great. Easy to find parking in the vicinity and quiet at night in this town. Definitely go up into old Badolato and visit the town. Work the experience."
