It's about a 30 minute drive from the house to the entrance of the Grand Canyon (more if the traffic is backed up at the pay stations due to the government cuts), so it's about as far away as I would like to stay with driving back and forth.Trish is super helpful, and we would happily stay there again should we return to the area. "You definitely need a car with high clearance and all or 4WD. The roads are rough, so plan to take it slow. High Grove Road is worse than a washboard. I actually prefer the dips and ruts of the other roads, lol. Space is great. Quite, lots of stars. Ended up being there in a snow storm and it was the perfect excuse to curl up on the couch, with the wood stove blazing and a book. Exactly what I wanted. Wished I had had longer to stay there. "
