"This is a renovated old building with eclectic decorations. The hotel was updated, but it almost felt like a 19th century guest house. The breakfast was delicious, and the courtyard where it was offered was wonderful. You can use it at other times to sit in the open air if you choose. "Accommodations were a good size for the cost. The arrangement of the toilet outside of the actual room was a little funky but that's okay. Natalie was the only one we had contact with was not well suited for dealing with people. When are traveling companion was injured on a step in the hotel Natalie was more concerned about telling her that she should have let her know that she was not going to dinner at the restaurant that Natalie made a reservation for her. "This is a wonderful property convenient to everything. Mathieu is the best host we have ever had, making reservations and recommendations, delivering a fantastic breakfast daily, arranging for laundry service and assisting with the car park. Communications were excellent and timely utilizing What App. The room was a sizable suite and had everything we needed with kitchen facilities if desired. We would definitely stay again."

"What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. The only down side was that we only had one night there on our roadtrip but we will definitely be back for a holiday based at Mas Julien! Thank you Valere - Kate and Mick "

"A truly beautiful place with beautiful hosts. Amazingly well and newly refubished Maison with beautiful rooms. Pierrick and Filipe are super welcoming and wonderful hosts. They helped guide us around the many Arts Exhibitions in Arles, booked us a wonderful restaurant. Not to forget the beautiful breakfast. If you are heading to Arles to enjoy and experience some photography, art or ancient ruins, enhance your experience by staying at Hotel de L'Anglais. It really made our stay. "

"An oasis in the desert! We were welcomed by Isabelle and Michele as old friends. We enjoyed swimming, practicing our French, eating lots of figs, and star gazing. I was even able to have a singing lesson with Isabella! It was a pleasure to stay!!!! :)"

"Check was good and quick. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."
