"This was our second stay at the hotel. As expected, it was very comfortable. The staff are friendly. We didn't face any issue. Location is great. Close to public transport. Iso Christina Mall is at walkable distance. Very close to Lake Saima."

"Conveniently located, pleasant and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Bedrooms don't seem to be made up nowadays, coffees etc not replenished so overall a high price for little more than an AirBNB."

"This is a place you get a bed to sleep and breakfast, but don't expect anything great. Everything is very basic and the hotel needs a face uplift. At least during this stay it was totally over-priced (about 200 euro)."

"Hotelli oli aivan ihana, viehättävä ja hyvällä maulla sisustettu. Huone oli pieni ollakseen luksushuone, keskellä huonetta oli pylväs. Kylpylä on ihastuttava."

"Room was unclean on arrival. Door required a special manoeuvre to unlock which was a real fire risk as the room windows don’t open. We reported both to reception, but were greeted by a shrug of the soldiers and some story about renewing the cleaning contract at the end of the season. Breakfast was cold meat and cheese with watered down orange juice and just the one toaster. Some staff were helpful but others weren’t. Whilst offering fishing, the staff didn’t know how to obtain the 2 Euro per day...

"A historic building on the outside, modernized on the inside, the guest house lies on the Salpa Line which was built to defend Finland during WWII. The Karelian flag flies proudly in the garden. The hosts arrange tours of the line and enthusiastically suggest walks and activities around Lappeenranta. The walk from the house to the lake Myllylampi was beautiful and alive with birds. Rooms are equipped with kitchen and dining areas."

"Huone mukava ja siisti. Melko kuuma kylläkin. Yhteiset pesutilat siistit. Hiukan yötä häiritsi työmiesten äänekäs lähtö klo.4 aikaan aamuyöllä. Henkilökunta mukavaa!"
