"Everything was perfect! David was a very welcoming host, even though we arrived after 9pm. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and spacious and very clean with bottled water and amenities. David laid on the nicest breakfast of warm croissants, warm bread, cheeses, jams, yoghurt and honey, and also supplied is plenty of milk and cocoa for hot chocolate. The cats and dogs at the property are adorable and all in all, it was a very relaxed overnight stay. Merci, David et Cecile."

"What a gem this place is ! The host couldn't be any nicer and more accommodating. Each room is more stunning than the next. Grounds are beautiful; so pleasant to sit in the backyard. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"A disappointing first impression when I arrived. All closed up. Owner arrived soon after to find staff inside. I booked a cottage and got a loft/attic area. The photos and description of the property aren't a bit like what you got. With extremely bad WiFi. Before I stayed, I was asked to walk quietly whilst moving around upstairs. That there were other rooms downstairs. Breakfast was simple."

"No check in desk, new to me. Total colossal failure to communicate. Could nor reach these people on phone or on line. I had a tenant i met ( i knocked on tenants door) try to call the hotel as well a a business attached to the building. No answer on phone. I left, as it was getting late, i was charged for room in any case. I am bike touring,. Standing outside a building, no communication in foreign country, blows."

"The room was a really good size with a large shower and a kitchenette. The parking was secure and the centre of town was walkable. I wasn't so happy about picking up the keys from a different location and then trying to find where we were staying with limited directions. A map would have been useful. The breakfast wasn't worth calling a breakfast but there is a nearby crockery that sells all the usual stuff."
