"This property is wonderful (family of 4 with 2 kids). It is important to know that it is about 45 minutes outside the main douro area, uphill, very secluded. It is above the mountains, so the view is very nice but it is not the typical valley view. We knew that we would be far from everything, so we came prepared with groceries, and we booked the Panoriamic villa, so we had a kitchenette. It was so quiet and peaceful, the beds were extremely comfortable, the pool was unheated but sooo...

"My stay at Quinta da Marka was amazing! Angela is so wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and enjoy the experience. She even drove me to and from the train station and to the wineries nearby. The rest of the team is also very kind and helpful. The property is impeccable! The views are unreal and the rooms are spacious and immaculate. Great food and wine are available for very reasonable prices. I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you Angela and team! "
