With the eclectic decoration, affable attitude, great service and location this property is idoneous. Even with a hazy, not too sunny weather, it has been the highlight of our 3 weeks road trip. "

"Excellent place to stay. We had a 'self-catering' apartment at La Maison aux Bonsais. The sign on the door says 'Guest House'. The owner Luc (and his son Michael) were very welcoming. When we arrived the fridge and pantry were well provided, basically giving us breakfast for our five day stay (with a short walk to the nearby boulangerie). "We were very disappointed. We we riding our bikes on a tour of the region, and arrived before 5pm. The manager did not look happy to see us, and made us feel uncomfortable that we came early. He did give us a room though. There are no easy dining options within walking distance, except for a crepe place with a very limited menu. Finally, we were told that breakfast was not before 8am. "Lovely stay here as we were attending a wedding. The owner Cooki is very warm and friendly. Breakfast is lovely. Hot shower with plenty of towels available. The grounds are plentiful.
