"This place has so much potential - the location is perfect for day trips to Erice, the coast and vineyards, and the views are unbeatable. Unfortunately the rooms are tired, the air conditioning not very good, the owner disinterested in guests, and despite being nearly empty they still charge extra for a room with a view! Breakfast was not good value, and despite advertising being a pizzeria, the restaurant didn’t serve pizzas the night we were there. "

The owners of the property are exquisite. So friendly. The place is a chill out relaxing place with views and smells of the Sicilian countryside. "I booked into the Torre Xiare at the end of April, and the hotel was just about empty. It looked as if the season had not really started and hence many of the facilities of the hotel were not available. If the hotel was busy and the facilities available I would imagine that it would a good place to stay at a reasonable price."
