The pool was very welcome given the 35 degree heat in mid July and we spent many an hour just in and out the pool! The main draw for this rental is the stunning location. "This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. This is an optional add-on. "

"The home is a beautiful, spacious, fully working property with friendly and interesting hosts who were very helpful with anything we needed. The location is secluded on a hill for beautiful views of the city, so you probably do need a car, but it is located only minutes from stores and sites to see. The home is so pretty that you should talk to your kids about being careful with all the artwork and decorations. Highly recommended to other guests, and thank you for having us!"

We used the incredible pool every day! Anna (property manager) was a delight. So responsive and helpful and warm. We used Giovanni for a car service while there and he was wonderful too!
