"It’s a great hotel for a quick stop, remember. Not all the staff speak English, but so far, I did manage to communicate with the night shift attendant, at the day shift attendant was easy, he was fluid in English. It’s clean, basic, easy to get from Hatay airport , it has water, coffee, tea. All good just great for a quick stop. "

"The hotel is great! Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and well-kept. Air conditioning works like a charm. Great variety at breakfast. The hotel is right next to the Uzun Çarşı, much of which seems to be up and operating again, at least, in some capacity. I would stay here in a second if I come to Antakya again. " I recently stayed at the Artes Hotel in Hatay, and I must say, it was a remarkable experience. This hotel is pretty much the only one in the area still standing after the devastating earthquake in 2023, which is a testament to its solid construction and resilience. The staff at Artes Hotel are incredibly nice and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and pleasant. The food was also very good, offering a delightful taste of local cuisine. The only minor downside is that the staff only speak Turkish. However, this is quite common throughout Turkey, except for the Antalya region where there are many tourists. Despite the language barrier, the staff’s friendliness and willingness to assist made communication manageable. Overall, I highly recommend Artes Hotel for anyone visiting Hatay. It’s a safe, welcoming place with excellent service and delicious food."

"There had been an earthquake in 2023 and the area around the hotel had been destroyed. Many historical sites destroyed too so we left after two days. Who ever built the hotel and the Hotel Museum built them to sustain earthquakes."
