"A bit in the middle of nowhere, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. We arrived after a long drive and found a very good outdoor swimming pool to relax in. They also have a very decent restaurant which is important because we didn't see anywhere else to eat nearly."

"From the moment we entered the grounds we were so impressed. All the women that worked there were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The room itself was modern, spacious and spotless. We had beautiful views of the grounds from the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on. Such an amazing way to start our first trip to the south of France. We would definitely come back!"

"This is a unique property - very rural and peaceful, but within striking distance of Toulouse. The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms. The breakfast was fantastic and the swimming pool was a wonderful bonus."

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. The bedrooms are superb, the bed is ultra comfortable, the bathroom with walk in shower excellent and thecair conditioning given it was 35 degrees outside such a delight. "Good clean reasonably priced fairly new modern hotel with it’s own large secure car park. Comfy bed, good size shower/bathroom, tv & kettle, which is great. Some great artwork (by S.Binet) along the carpeted stairs/corridors, very nice touch. Breakfast was approx euro 11/Pers, which is a fair price, with plenty to choose from, they even supplied gluten free products for my coeliac wife, thank you!"

"We actually left because it was so awful. Fortunately the guy on reception was very understanding. It was totally unsuitable for anyone over 25 as it was so rowdy and the lodge was really bad. Sorry to say this but true."

Bijou Village House With Heated Pool In Tranquil Courtyard Gardens

Fantastic location

"This well located house is perfect for a family of 4 stopping in Saint Antonin Noble Val. It's called Bijou, but there is plenty of room in the 3 storeys. The living room on the 1st floor is delightful. We really relaxed in there, reading in the relative cool while it was 34C outside. The bedrooms were comfortable but very warm in the evening. The apartment is about 2 minutes walk from the main square, but very quiet at night. The pool is just enough to cool down you down on the really hot days. It's nice and clean and well maintained. The stairs inside the property are very steep, as any house built in the medieval. If that is an issue, then this place is not for you. If you like period properties, and can manage the stairs then this is a great choice. The hosts showed us in, gave us the keys and left. That's exactly what I like - it's not a bed and breakfast so don't expect a guided tour. I goit the feeling if I wanted more detail they would happily provide it. Very good hosts. I would definitely stay in this house again, and recommend it to friends."

Le Petit Paradis - Cottage for 8 people with Private Pool in the Countryside

"This spacious property was a converted old French farmhouse with fantastic views across the countryside. Very rural -but not easy to find even with Sat-nav. Pool was a great asset as were the trees and flowers around the property. Unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather apart from the first couple of days. However this may have been a godsend as when it was warm -condensation from the stone walls appeared and covered the ground floor which was tiled. This resulted in a very slippery surface which was hard to negotiate. In fact one of our party had a nasty fall using some tiled steps. Mr Bouby the owner was very helpful when we had a problem with the toilet. Unfortunately we did struggle to communicate when we arrived . It might be a good idea to produce an arrival pack in different languages for future visitors. "

Very relaxing stay

"Very private and relaxing stay the Pictures of the terrace do not do it justice and we had fantastic weather and so made the most of the pool which is in the sun all day. We would definitely return again the only thing I would mention is the bedding and mattresses could do with an update. Thanks for your hospitality!"
