Perfect if you are in Vail to PLAY
We are low maintenance travelers who want to live on the mountain more than anything….this place was perfect for our needs… clean beds- a place to rest and eat….set up for good connection and hanging out… just make sure you really like the people you are traveling with because there isn’t lots of space to get away from each other!!

Cheap and uncomfortable
It was the cheapest property we could find in Vail. Extremely uncomfortable beds. Minimum amenities. Shower curtain kept falling down. Fire place didn’t actually work. Adult diapers left in drawers. Overall, it is a cheap roof over your head in a great location.

Nice variety of kitchen equipment, dishes, food staples. Vacuum cleaner inside the unit. Wasn't sure which uses of TV I would be charged extra for. No radio, or I couldn't find one. Interior of unit felt dark to me. No washcloths in the bathroom. No grab bars in shower. Layout of the unit felt awkward to me. "Crossroads" in center with rooms going out in all four directions. I was one person; felt like you would run into other people if there were more than one person. Cobwebs at the foot of the stairs, just inside the front door.

Good value stay, near bus stop.
Property was fine and a great value for east vail. Complex is dated but this unit is redone on the interior and was clean and comfortable. Description is accurate. Had a problem in communications in that we had a small issue with the door lock while I was on the mountain and no one could or would directly talk to my wife who was at the unit. So no real person that can quickly and accurately address issues. BTW, the issue with the lock was that the manual latch wasn’t engaged, so the electric part would not lock. Anyone with familiarity with the actual mechanism would have been able to tell her in ten seconds to turn the latch and press the away button. The fact that she tried to fix it for two hours and no one would call or text her directly, causing her to miss a day of skiing, was very frustrating for both of us. Just a part of dealing with corporate management…on our rentals, the guests can call us directly and often do for silly things. Overall, good stay.

Hot, and too unsafe for my liking
Overall the unit was a disappointment. The bathroom and kitchen were nice and outfitted well but I was very frustrated and angry that the windows in the two bedrooms do not open! It was crazy hot when we got there (they had ran the self cleaning oven during the day) and there is not even close to enough cross breeze from the tiny bathroom window and living room slider. It was tough to sleep In the warm bedrooms. In addition to no cool air, the inoperable windows felt unsafe in case of emergency or fire. There was also no smoke detector in the condo (looks like they took it off the wall of the kitchen) there is also an outlet cover missing behind the bed in the master. The unit was clean and conveniently located but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the windows not opening, and fire/safety hazards.

Cute Condo with Pretty Views
Overall the condo worked for our stay, but there are some things that should be noted in the listing. In addition to the outside stairs shown in one picture, the parking space is down a steep hill and then the unit itself is up a VERY steep flight of stairs. This was a bit hard to navigate with our gear (there for a lacrosse tournament) and as a recent chemotherapy patient it was tough. Also, while there is laundry, it should be noted that it's shared, in a boiler room style basement and coin operated. I also had to call Vacasa to find out where it was. Again down the steep stairs of the unit, outdoor steps, steep hill & basement stairs. Overall the unit was clean, but there was some mold in the bathroom. Lastly, the smoke alarm started going off (needing battery) on our second to last night, so our son had to sleep on the couch. Again, we made it all work, but I wouldn't stay again.

Great place for trip to vail
Used the apartment for a recent ski trip to vail. It was a perfect location. A few things that should be known when arriving. There is a market less than a mile down the road. Perfect for getting groceries without having to drive into vail. Also, if you are traveling to the village for skiing or anything, there is literally a bus stop at the end of the driveway! Turned out to be perfect, no need to pay $35+ a day to park. The neighborhood was plowed everyday, even with the 8” of snow that fell. Overall had a great time and will probably be back some day!!!

Nice place
Convenient place to stay and plenty of toilet paper and soap. Nicely maintained. Easy to use entertainment system. Icy stairs up from parking outside building and narrow stairs inside building could be safety concern. Otherwise great stay.

Minimum Standard
The property as clean and visually appealing. However, there were some issues... 1) When a property indicates it has "WiFi" I assume it high-ish speed. The internet service at this property as at most 1Mbps and sometimes as low as .34Mbps (checked with speedtest). This made it impossible to stream entertainment at night and difficult to update a play list for riding the next day. I called the property manager - he said he'd call the owner to see about upgrading the service. It never improved. 2) Given we couldn't stream movies, we turned to the TV, but it's DirectTV and many of the movie channels report Signal Loss even though we had clear weather - sure enough, the satellite dish is directly behind a tree, blocking the signal. 3) The pillows were more like a piece of fabric in a pillow case. I finally got some head support by bunching it up. I looked for additional pillows, found a couple, but no pillow cases and none of them were a "firm" option. 4) The lighting was very dim throughout the unit, except in the "hall" between the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The stove light (in the microwave) was not functioning. 5) There was only one soap dispenser in the condo; only in the bathroom, no soap at the kitchen sink. So when someone was in the bathroom while someone else was cooking, we had to wait for the bathroom to be available to clean our hands.

Pretty, but minimum standard
Close to the slopes and hiking. Quiet despite being right next to the interstate. Internet was essentially dial-up, 1Mbps Max and frequently less - not enough to easily update a play list for the next day of riding, much less stream a movie. The latter wouldn’t have been n issue, except the DirectTV said “temporary loss of signal” more often than not. Maybe it had something to do with the dish being aimed directly at a tree? Lighting was dim throughout (except in the short hallway between bedrooms) and stovetop light was not functioning. Pillows were flat. Only one soap dispenser (in the bathroom), so if someone was using the bathroom and someone else was cooking, the cook couldn’t wag their hands.

Convenient and Local to Vail!
Great condo for 4 people to stay or a family with 2 young children (children would stay in the bunk beds). There is a bus stop just outside the complex, which will take you to the main lodge at Vail. I really liked being able to hop on/off the shuttle and not deal with parking when going to the resort. We didn't have soap, toilet paper, paper towels or a functioning coffee pot when we arrived, but the Vacasa rep was able to fix this the next day, so appreciate his prompt response and service!
