Wild mountain adventures await you and up to nine other family or friends when you stay in this vintage East Vail vacation rental in the beautiful coniferous forests of the Vail, Colorado region.

Hidden behind a stand of blue spruce, you'll still get a fabulous view from the deck of Vail Valley, and a clear sky when you soak in the home's private hot tub. Inside is vintage ski lodge decor, plenty of natural light, and leather furniture ready to engulf you after a busy day of skiing/riding! Get the wood fireplace going and settle in for a game show marathon, or bring your HDMI chord to hook up your Netflix via WiFi to the flatscreen. Admire antique snowshoes, vintage ski posters, and old photographs hanging on the wall, and that plaid armchair will become your favorite reading spot, guaranteed.

Cook in an 80s style kitchen, full of all the gadgets you could possibly need to make your favorite home cooked meals: a blender for protein shakes in the morning, and espresso maker, a mixer for cookie dough, and a slow-cooker for a roast or a chili that will leave the house smelling divine! There's even a gas grill outside for barbecues on sunny afternoons. Eat at the dining table, ranch house style with benches and a checkered table cloth, and put the dishes away in the dishwasher when bedtime arrives.

When guests want to wind down and relax together, they can head to the den area with two more leather sofas, a table perfect for card games, a TV with a DVD/VHS player, and a mini wet bar for setting up snacks away from the action of Blackjack or Settlers of Catan. There's a poker table supplied for tournament nights as well. There is a sofabed here, with a teddy bear ready to snuggle! Can't stand to put on the same sweaty ski socks again? Toss your activewear in the washer/dryer to keep your packing light and your clothes fresh.

As night falls, retire to comfortable bedrooms decorated in varying shades of blue: the main bedroom suite, set against a gorgeous blue wall, can also be converted into an office space for those who need a moment to compose a work email or write in their journal. The guest room is spacious with plenty of closet space. Adventure awaits you in this Vail Valley vacation rental.

Great location
Great location so close to Vail and with convenient access in the bus line. Helpful to find a place that truly sleeps 9-10 comfortably. The condo layout is quirky, especially in the kitchen. Appreciated that the kitchen and supplies were well-stocked.

The good: Roomy, well stocked, spacious. Great hot tub. Good for kids. The bad: Driveway is very steep. Always Icey, difficult to walk on or drive on. Neighbors not considerate. Windows old, traffic very loud.

Great for a big group
We were hesitant to book because there were some not great reviews from a few years ago, but whatever was the case then isn't the casenow. House was extremely clean when we arrived, all fresh linens and everything stocked we expected. Our group was 10 total and everyone was comfortable. Living spaces were great for getting together. Rooms/Beds were comfortable and we had no issues. House is older but that's obvious from the pics, if you're expecting extremely high end you're gonna be paying more than this. If you're expecting clean, comfortable, and homey this is the one.

The neighborhood is beautiful. Waking distance to Booth Falls Trail and biking distance to Vail Village. Too close to I-70. Traffic noise 24/7 makes it impossible to relax or hear nature. Disappointing!

Not 5 bedrooms It is shame to say that
The fifth room down stair is useless. it is not a bedroom. it is storage for bathroom. Don't say this property has 5 bedrooms. it is shame! you should give me a refund for this useless room. I loss my face to my friends. Nobody is able to stay for the two level beds, too lower for each level.

Nice cozy house, close to the road... can hear everything
When we got there, we noticed sheets were not cleaned on any beds, when I asked the owner about it, he did not respond to me. The house was dirty, very dirty.... for me, when you pay to stay somewhere... you don’t want to feel like you have to clean, and definitely don’t want to have to wash all the bedding, when you just arrive.

If you need a place in east Vail this place is ok . Its very loud due to its close proximity to I70 . The carpet and beds were nice and clean. TV and internet were fine. I liked the place but was turned off by the condition of the hot tub and shuttling other renters out so we could move in

Good value
The property is in a convenient location in east vail with an easy walk to the bus stop which runs frequently from early morning until late night. Property is dated but as pictured in photos and was fine for us with plenty of room in the common spaces. Bunk rooms are very small but again perfectly fine especially for kids. You can hear the highway at night as others mentioned but it wasn't overwhelmingly loud. The home was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub worked great. I would recommend this property for the value and location if you don't care about having something very luxe

Beware of the driveway
Did not expect a driveway this steep. Strongly recommend All-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. Every day it snowed we shoveled the driveway and put down "Ice-Melt". Plowing the snow would have packed the drive and our mini-vans would NOT have gotten up the steep hill. Supposedly, someone else was scheduleded to shovel the snow if less than 4 inches ("someone", never appeared). Neighbors in other unit blocked driveway / had extra vehicles which exacerbated the vehicle / parking situation. Two upper bedrooms were good, lower bedrooms had bunkbeds with low ceilings. Kitchen, living area, hot-tub were all acceptable.

Noise
Let me first say that the rental had everything needed for a great stay and was in excellent condition for an older property. However, it is located right on top of the interstate and if you are at all a light sleeper this is not the property for you. The house literally shook with every semi that rolled by all day and night long making it impossible for all of us in the condo to get any rest. Since the property was most likely built before the interstate was constructed the walls and insulation are hence not adequate to cover the noise from the highway--not the houses fault, just a fact. Also if you have Verizon you will have a very difficult time with connections and phone calls as there was between zero and 1 bars at all times. Additionally if you have pickup trucks the garage is not large enough to accommodate and parking is an issue as space is really limited and we did have issues with the other duplex occupants parking in one of our spots a couple of nights, fortunately we only had 2 rigs both of those evenings or we would have had issues.

Great home for a group of friends to stay in.
If you don't mind staying in East Vail, it's a great place to stay. The proximity to the highway doesn't make a difference, as the soundproofing is very good in the house. Had everything we needed for our stay. Great experience.

DUPLEX!
careful when booking, they don't tell you its a duplex. your share a wall with others. parking is limited. also noise restriction because you share a wall as a duplex
