"Lesley's attention to detail is everywhere. In the comfort bedding, the soft fabrics, the beautiful tile and clever workmanship in the room, the soft scent of clean in there. The gardens and blooms are well tended also in this wonderful location. The fresh farm house breakfast overlooking the pool & mountains was joyful. I liked the company of Mickey and Nutella, two well behaved pooches who lay by my feet & smiled. ( I swear they did). And what's not to smile about here where the veggies grow...

"Man merkt, dass sowohl die Ferienwohnung wie auch das Anwesen mit viel Liebe geführt wird. "After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. This is just a peaceful beautiful place which capped of our italian tour perfectly. To return i would stay at least 3 nights. It is worth it. The area is stunning with many things to do"

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. The roads in the valley are quite narrow...

"Beautiful location, we had nice terrace to sit out on overlooking pool. Not sure all rooms as good. Rooms are in a partially restored village and quite basic but in character. Views of green hills and distant mountains great. We were surprised though that village is some 800 meters above reception and restaurant down steep road . Most people seemed to dive and we walked as we like to try local wine. Restaurant is great and reasonable priced, 60 Euro for tasting menu with local wine for two...

"Fantastisk værtspar, som fik os til at føle os velkommen med det samme. God pool og en fin lejlighed. Der skal ikke så meget til før de kunne have fået bedre anmeldelse, men ting som at vi ikke fik gjort rent, skiftet sengetøj eller håndklæder og selv skulle bede om toiletpapir i en periode på 14 dage tæller virkelig ned. Der manglede helt basale køkkenting, en lille ting men også irriterende. Der opdrættes fugle på stedet, og de larmer virkelig meget om natten. Der var ekstremt mange fluer,...

"The location was perfect. We fell in love with Castiglione de Garfagnana and the view from our accommodation was spectacular. We also loved the sounds of the church and cow bells! The accommodation was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed daily walks to the village for morning cappuccini and exploring the local villages and countryside by car.
