I had mentioned to her prior to my arrival that I *love* arancini (a Sicilian street snack), and she had two waiting for me when I got there. She gave me recommendations, and even a recipe for a pasta I ate that I wanted to learn to make back home. "Really enjoyed the amount of space, the large bathrooms, big balcony, washing machine. Not a lot for us to do in Valverde, but a nice jumping off point for Mount Etna and Taormina. Very kind and accommodating town, as we spoke no Italian and they were very patient with us."

"Well organised communication from the start. Lovely hosts who went through everything at the start. The property is lovely an old restored very sensitively. Reasonably good location allowing you to access to Etna and the coast. There is no air conditioning so there were a few nights where it was a little uncomfortable. You do need to rent a car to explore from here to make the best if what Sicily has to offer."

"The house was perfect for our large family! Nice bedrooms, good with three toilets and great to have a Livingroom. We loved to sit outside in the shadows with a lot of beautiful flowers around. The waterfront area was so good and snorkeling just amazing. The pool was also great but was closed for our last days because of ash from Etna. We had a rental car and it was great to park just outside the house. We really want to come back!"
