"We spent Christmas here with our dog and found the property suited us in every way - a large secure garden for the dog (with access from both the living room and bedroom), lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen all in a peaceful location. We were able to visit Strasbourg and Colmar very easily from here and also enjoy the Rhine and discover the lovely town of Gengenbach. Delightful hosts next door."

It’s in a private area with gate system which gives a very secure feeling although being in a sleepy village there wasn’t any cause for worry. parking space for 2 cars. We were glad of the airco in the dining area as temperatures got quite high in the afternoon/evening. "This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"We stayed a week in this lovely cottage. I cannot praise it enough. The location is fantastic in a lovely quiet little village close to good amenities in nearby Benfeld. It is great for exploring Colmar, Strasbourg, Alsace and the Black Forest. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed.
