"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"The mobile home was really clean, close to town, very quiet. It your looking for a hunting base camp or in town to visit family, it’s good for that. If your looking for the honeymoon suite, this is not it. The picture of the porch and the scenic Mountain View does not belong to this house. Again, it really was clean and worked well for what we need. "

"We have been wanting to stay at this property for a long time even before we moved to the Hill Country. The house is even nicer than the pictures. The view is amazing. You immediately feel at home. They have thought of everything you need and the beds and couch are comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. "Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it.
