"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"This place is just A-MAZING!!! We were a huge party of 26 people with ages ranging between 6-78. Tons of games and activities helped keep everyone busy. There wasn’t a single moment when we felt we could’ve made a better choice with the place. Excellent and beautiful place to stay in Texas hill country.
