"Breakfast was quite good as was the location. The room was comfortable. I really only have one criticism and that is the lack of towel hooks was made the bathroom facilities a bit awkward.. a simple fix. The driver they arranged to take us to the bus station was outstanding. We would stay again"

"The energy of the place is very conducive to an incredible and unforgettable experience. However, it seems that most of the area carers to surfers! This is by far, one of the friendliest and down to earth places in my visit so far!"

La struttura offre una disposizione Delle camere/appartamenti ottimale, tanto che le serate in compagnia in terrazza o nel cortiletto interno ti fanno dimenticare i bar sulla spiaggia (visto anche che la surfhouse offre un bar interno con tanto di musica). "Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them. "

"The place itself is nice and has a certain charm. Didn’t love the location/area though and lack of programming. Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. The place itself is well thought out and designed. "

There was an issue for a day and half where our master shower was not working due to a missing piece so our family of five needed to use the smaller unit. Not a problem but just inconvenience. I had to be proactive in this communication but after the owner personally called and wanted to make sure the unit issue was addressed. They did get then handy man to come and fix it. "The hotel is spotless, in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local sites. The proprietor, Ellen, is friendly and she makes you feel like you’re at home. We have stayed at this property before, last year, the reason we returned is because of the hospitality. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. If you ever need anything, there is always someone there to help. I would never think of going anywhere else."

"Fishy smell as lobby checkin is adjacent to their restaurant which is a seafood restaurant. No big deal and the property is quite suitable for the price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Our room is in back and looks over a lot under construction but can also see the cliff with funicular with beach and fort "

"We arrived a little early before the hotel was open. We called a contact number and staff cheerfully arrived to admit us. Our room was on the the second floor at the corner with the best view of the nearby beach. The room was small but clean and the view more than compensated. The hotel is steps from the beach, restaurants, and the funicular to take you to the North Shore. We would stay there again and recommend."
