"The Takeo Onsen Kyotoya is a traditional Japanese hotel. I wanted the tatami mat and futon experience and this property exceeded my expectations. I enjoy the older style of hotel as the nostalgia of the experience is valuable to me. The room and bath were well appointed and very comfortable. My room had a great view of an interesting rock formation on the top of a mountain nearby. The location is within a 10 minute easy flat and wide walk from the station. Do note that this ryokan does not offer dining options hence you may want to consider other options if you are looking for a full onsen ryokan experience. "I stayed this hotel for a family travel. My mother was satisfied with staying 'Ryutouen ryokan'.' A room is large, comfotable. The special smell of ryokan is good to me. I'd like to recommend this hotel to ohers."

"Very tidy property in good conditions. Rooms face either the river or the hills. Very convenient to Imari station, supermarket, local restaurants. Rooms have cooktop and microwave but absolutely no crockery, cutlery or cookware except two mugs!"
