"This property, though it’s not near the plaza or Central area of town, is very beautiful and peaceful. I’m so glad we chose this place because as soon as you walk in the staff are more than willing to go above and beyond to help in anyway. The lobby is well appointed and gorgeous. There are two lovely fireplaces, which are lit in the evening. In the lobby, they offer Coka tea and Muna tea For those experiencing altitude sickness. There’s a beautiful gift shop which offers alpaca, scarves and other goods. There’s also a gift shop with local handmade goods. The room with the king size bed was spacious and very clean. There’s a very nice gas heater in the room to keep you warm throughout the night. The bed is very comfortable and the feather pillows keep you Sleeping soundly through the night. The shower has excellent water pressure and the water is very nice and hot. When you walk through the lobby, you will find the dining room and a bar leading out to the beautiful patio with lake views. There’s a bunch of cute guinea pig pigs outside and they have a few alpacas on Property to take pictures with. The breakfast was great with the large variety, so far our best breakfast in Peru. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And, I would definitely stay here multiple times whenever I have the opportunity. Luis, who works at the reception desk is very helpful and all of the reception staff are also helpful."

"Very helpful and happy staff. Hot buffet bkft with options of cooked to order. Laundry service, sent out. Since on a pedestrian only street, pick ups require some walking. The bellman came down 2 blocks to help with luggage s we arrived after dark and had trouble locating the hotel. A wonderful stay!"

"A wonderful experience at this home stay. This honesty is further out form the other home stays, closer to where they originally were located which means you get less tour boats driving past and privacy. The day tour to the community islands was fantastic. the food is simple and delicious! As it’s an island I would bring more snacks or drinks as there is no where to purchase them. Wifi works for basic stuff. Easy to arrange the pick up, the host will be at the port and drop you off whenever you need. Would highly recommend. "

"Communication prior to arrival difficult. We were given a short boat tour, without being asked, and later charged for it, as was each boat trip. Property not the one advertised and rented, it was much smaller..Just as we were leaving we were presented with 90 45 soles in extra charges, which had never been declared. Each time the 3 of us got in his bost it cost us 45 soles or $18.. The tiny cabin was very cold, unheated. Temperature dropped to 9 at night. We slept very little, and myself only 1 hour..I gave our host, Nestor Coila a gift of a small navigation compass and received not even a thank you. Overall I feel we were played , kept uninformed and taken advantage of. In all honesty we could only stay 1 night out of the 3 booked. I cannot recommend this property nor the host to any future guests. Please be warned."

"Great stay with very kind hosts. This is a B&B type lodging where a married couple (Adelia and Wilmar) caters to your needs. You'll sleep in a comfortable hut on the island with more amenities than you'd imagine was possible while staying on a floating island: Hot water, running water, in-room propane heater, compositing toilet. Adelia and her sister serve tasty simple meals. Wilmar will shuttle you to/from the mainland and take you on a quick tour on his reed boat. The couple has done an amazing job creating everything on the island. The island itself, the solar panels, water pumps, drainage, fish farm, huts, etc. were all built by them. I had a wonderful time learning about their way of life and enjoying the breathtaking (literally and figuratively) views."

"Staying on the Uros islands is highly recommended. The rate includes amazing breakfast and Dinners cooked for you. As well as boat transportation from Puno to the hotel. The staff arranged a tour for us to Taquile island and the rest of the parts of Uros islands. The cultural experience is amazing. The staff were so nice and attended to our every need. You won't get a chance ti stay on a floating island made of reeds anywhere else so we highly advise you to try it!"

"Nice place, quiet, great views. There were some communication issues in the beginning and issues getting there. Once that was clear, it was cool. Also, there were some additional charges that were not clearly explained out in the original reservation but it was a nice place and good host. 4/5"
