"If you like to be away from the madding crowd, but within easy reach of it, this is the place for you. There is a fantastic and dramatic off road 6 minute drive from the main road to the house which is perched in isolation on the top of the hill with spectacular “Siena Hills” type views. The host’s and beautiful hostess were mega helpful and provided us with great advice (some of which we foolishly ignored). "A lovely traditional Italian hotel. We booked an executive room and were a bit surprised not to have a view and to find that the bathroom had no shower but spa bath. The room was small and dark and traditionally furnished but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was effective. Hotel staff were charming and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. "
