The hotel was very cozy, an open area with reception and breakfast. Beautiful breakfast spread and seating options. Very clever to provide trays for the buffet, made it so much easier to move around and clear the table afterwards.

I had an incredible experience at Hotel Botanika! Very nice hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, and I appreciated the sense of humor written on random signs in the hotel. Love the theme!

Caters more to a younger demographic with trendy sayings in English on the walls along with American and British culture and murals in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the outdoor breakfast courtyard. Within walking distance to the train station and Uppsala sights. A little bigger than the small boutique feel.

The building was old and had some quirks. Our bathroom door was difficult to open. Overall it was clean. The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was good.

The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly if not always terribly efficient. Matresses we're very uncomfortable. Despite our repeated requests, the room wasn't cleaned until the day before the fourth day of a five day stay. All in all, overpriced and not a great value.

Inte riktigt värt pengarna
Vi bokade ett rum för närmare 1000 lappen och då var det ändå på rea. En bohemisk känsla när man kommer in och får kansie lite av känslan av ett vandrarhem. Men när vi kommer in på rummet så får vi definitivt en känsla av ett vandrarhem, det enda som saknas är att andra sover i samma rum. Det fanns inget som kändes som det lilla extra och badrummet var väldigt litet och klinkern var väldogt smutsig. När man tog en dusch så rann vatten ut över precis hela golvet då brunnen var på en uppslätt så att vatntet inte rann ner. Sängarna var hårda och ingen av oss sov särskilt bra. Kankse finns bättre rum på hotellen men den som är 2 single beds var inte så bra. Så rummet nådde inte upp till förväntningarna men personal var väldigt trevlig och frukosten god 😊

Dåligt! Badrummet var gammalt, slitet och i mycket dåligt skick. Sängen var hård och oskön. Det fanns ingen hotellkänsla alls i rummet. Rekomenderar ingen att bo här.

Smutsigt och usel service
Fyra nätter i ett rum som lämnade övrigt att önska. Smutsigt, slitet och oerhört osköna sängar. När vi påtalade smutsen, blev svaret att det inte fanns några städare på hotellet. Ingen åtgärd dagen efter heller. Vi är väldigt besvikna och avråder mycket starkt att boka in en vistelse i detta bedrövliga hotell.

Vissa rätter på frukosten serverades kalla, ex stekt potatis. Saknades uppmärkning om detta vilket gjorde att jag trodde att rätten skulle vara varm när jag tog av den. Rätten levde därför inte upp till min förväntan. Hade det däremot varit uppmärkt att den serveras kall så hade jag vetat om det och gjort mitt val utifrån det. Synd på en i övrigt god frukost och fin vistelse.
