"Apartment is nice and centrally located - walkable to lots of sites in Zagreb. Convenient to have a basic kitchen. Units could use tea towels in kitchen and any kind of coffee maker. Internet was spotty during out stay but we saw people from the ISP on site so may be were there to repair."

"The name states it all. This was luxury both due to the apartment and the location. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable and the location is perfect with everything being within walking distance. Definitely recommended for a visit to Zagreb."

"Doma Zagreb was clean, quiet and was a wonderful room. Has little kitchenette. The owner was terrific with hospitality and communication. Walking distance to square and restaurants. A few stairs to get to room but doable. We enjoyed our stay. "

"So glad we found this hidden gem. Very reasonable, clean, and walking distance to all the main attractions (Advent Market for me). No lift but the wonderful Ivana took care of this for me. She was so helpful (texts before check-in), giving local guidance. Their 5 stars is very well deserved. Parking garage is about a brisk 5-min walk but very reasonable daily rates. Will I stay there again? Most definitely. "

"So much care had been taken to make the apartment comfortable. Excellent high quality bed, sofabed and bedding. Kitchen is enough to heat meals and make breakfasts. Dishwasher and washing machine small but very useful. There is a laundry downstairs if you want to do bigger loads. Local area is perfect for Museums , shops and restaurants. You couldnt ask for more. "

"This is a very nicely modernised apartment in the centre of Zagreb - about 2 minutes walk from the main square and 5 minutes from the rail station. Everything was beautifully designed, and clean, with luxurious fittings and furniture. This was an excellent place to stay. "

"Fabulous location. Definitely search for the Caffe downstairs if you have issues with directions. Streets are for pedestrians, not vehicles, so if you are dropped off prepare to walk. Remember that 2nd floor here isn’t the same as the US. The interior was excellent with ductless heat (2) in the bedroom and hallway to common area. "Property was perfect we walked everywhere ,restaurants were in abundance . The apartment was great size plenty of room for us . It was an enjoyable couple of days . Would highly recommend."

"This is a spacious apartment with a great kitchen. The information the owner gave me was helpful. We had a little trouble figuring out which lockbox to use to get the keys. We were able to walk to restaurants, and we drove to the market. Parking was a bit difficult. We had a large van and had to park a few blocks away on a hill during rush hour - so not good planning on our part. But overall this is a nice place to stay at a very good price."

"Owner did not respond immediately and I didn't know how to get into the apartment causing me to panic. Also, it is on the 4th floor but the lights do not turn on automatically in the hall and stairs. The first night I had to use my phone to see up the stairs. There is a light at the bottom but the first day I didn't see it. Other places the lights have motion censors in the stairways."

"The Esplanade is truly a 5 star hotel! From the attentive staff to the excellent food, the property is really exceptional. We booked 3 nights as part of a trip to the Istrian Peninsula and enjoyed the hotel so much that we booked an additional night when we returned to Zagreb to get our flight home. The place has an Old World feel that isn't stuffy at all. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was happy to exchange the feather pillows for foam at our request. The Esplanade was an incredible bargain. We got more than what we paid for."

"Great location- room was super spacious- it felt good . I was not offered the silver reward member - which was supposed to include free parking and spa service for two. I was asked to pay for parking but then when I told about the Expedia offer I did not have to pay. But the lady did not offer the spa service "
