"A comfortable place down Riccarton Road between Riccarton and Bush Inn malls. Some aspects were looking a little tired, e.g. basin in the bathroom, but overall great value and service"

"I cannot rate the Alpha highly enough on here! Joy was the loveliest and kindest lady who welcomed us when we arrived, arranged a change in rooms and also helped with our bags! Joy went above and beyond to make our stay extra special! Will absolutely always stay here on trips to CHCH from now on! "

"Excellent stay - the place was spotless and well maintained. We booked super last minute after flight changes and came to the motel late. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding, even gave us new toothbrush and toothpaste as we didn’t have our check in luggage and only our backpack. That’s going above and beyond "

"Great location close to everything. Quite and nice setup. Only minor issue was a stuck water tap in the kitchen sink. Vivian was a friendly staff member and can’t fault the place. Highly recommended and will be back next Christchurch stay."

"Really nice property with well appointed rooms with nespresso coffee and minibar for purchase. large bathroom and shower. comfortable bed. parking is valet parking. at times not enough staff at front desk which led to waits. Also only 2 elevators so when busy some waits"

"Compact rooms well equipped but they save on space to allow cheaper rates. Super modern. Good breakfast buffet to start your day. Breakfast costs more if you pay when you book your room. Buy it when you show up in the morning instead."
