"A wonderful property and lovely hosts. Elizabeth and Jean-Christian went out of their way to welcome us. A great selection of maps and tourist information on hand for your days out. The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. We would heartily recommend to other families. We expect we will visit again!"

"From the moment we rolled up to this magical home we knew we had chosen wisely. As described, it really is the only home around and the natural setting is just stunning. We spent time bird watching, star gazing, breathing the fresh air. We took advantage of our proximity to the singular Cliffs of Etretat by easily walking to the sea to watch sunsets. "Despite the fact that the house go back to the former century it is very well maintained it has a lot of charme with a huge garden and beautifull trees. Inside the house everything is present ..just buy your fresh food and you are set . Also the location is perfect , directly near a cosy village with fresh bakeries and bouchers, only less then 20 min driving from Honfleur and Deauville."

"Really enjoyed our two nights here - Dorothee and family have a gem of a property in their garden. We loved the parking and private access via the bridge running over the river Vienne passing by the side of the property. Well placed for visiting the coast - Veulle Les Roses a lovely village and well worth a visit. Just over 2 hours from Calais so useful to break a journey."

"This is a small, but lovely property, right in the centre of Etretat, but not on a main road. There was parking available in the courtyard and there is a pretty garden. Two bikes were available for us to use too. Francoise was very prompt at arriving, was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property for a visit to Etretat."

"Overall, this was a good Gite to spend a week in Normandy. It was well equipped, comfortable for a four person stay, and close to the coast for visits to lovely towns and beaches. A good bus service runs hourly down to Le Havre and also further up the coast. The local village is only a few minutes walk away and has a mini market, hotel and restaurant. Etretat is a little further but well worth the walk as it is a beautiful town with even more facilities. Spending time at the house is no hardship...
