"Fantastic location, what a lovely town. The host was lovely and very friendly. The place is old but what does one expect in an old town. Yes there are stairs, but not an inconvenience. Yes it's right next to railway, but didn't bother me. There are window shutters you can close (, a previous review complained about the bright room🤔). Iverall I enjoyed my stay,safe,secure,clean,spacious room and bed was comfy. What more can one ask?"

"This is a lovely hotel right on the river. We were in a room on the top floor with a small balcony, which had a great view. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We found the beds to be a bit soft, but thats a personal preference thing. Parking is available along the river for 4euro a day and you get a ticket that allows free travel on the trains and buses locally for the duration of your stay."

"A 4-star hotel (despite rating). Pulls out all the stops to upscale from lovely little entrance with red velvet ropes to well-designed rooms and elegant breakfast room and personal service. The location may be a bit pedestrian but it's a block from main shopping promenade and easy walk to the confluence of the Rhein and Mosel which is a gorgeous promenade and must do. Loved this hotel. A real gem."

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location. We had a room with balcony with a gorgeous view of the Rhine. The room was a nice size and very clean. The hotel itself is older and a little out of date, but it was maintained well. It’s a short walk to the train station and the boat dock. It was a perfect home base to explore the rest of the middle Rhine. "
