"This is a wonderful little spot in eastern Germany, quite off the beaten bath and a little hard to find. Very clean, large spacious rooms, comfortable and quiet. Our minimal German got us most of the way through checking in, but the desk clerk found someone from the kitchen that could speak English. They were very pleasant and helpful. "Great hotel in a convenient location. We needed a twin room which was accommodated. Very clean. Great hot water pressure. Room was basic but spacious. There's an elevator which is helpful as we were on the 4th floor. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Eggs, meats, toast, crescents, cheeses, sausages, yogurts, veggies etc. And nice service. "Pension Teichblick was everything we could have hoped for and more. In general we felt we paid well over the odds in most places as we travelled across Germany. But Pension Teichblick was far and away the exception. And don't think that means low quality, it doesn't. We were totally satisfied with the accomodation Pension Teichblick offered. "The castle and its park are beautiful and the property is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Not so good was the restaurant (we ordered a package with a three course dinner). The waiter was not well trained, the menu card showed a different dessert than we were served. The food itself was ok. "
