"This was our 1st time booking an apartment and overall it was a good experience. The apartment is very secure with keypads on both the front door and the apartment door. The apartment itself is very spacious and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need, good fridge freezer, good oven and hob, dish washer and the counter electricals like kettle and toaster.Bathroom with bath and shower is very nice and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed and lots of storage. "The plumbing work was poor and the sink kept making loud noises all night. The best sheets were dirty. The window was broken and would not close and it was freezing cold. There was noise all night"

"Lovely place to stay! Right in city centre, the place itself has everything you need- well equipped from plates, pans and hairdryer to a washing machine/dryer. The TV even has Netflix. Very nice and clean and great communication from the company on how to check in etc or if there is a problem."

"The Harcourt apartments are situated in a quiet area, near a chip shop and within easy reach of the main part of Newark town, the castle, cinema, parks etc.. The property is clean, with comfy beds and towels supplied. The single bed is a bit narrow, but ok for a child. "Good for the price, basic room with a bit of decay in the property but perfectly clean. Close to town, room 6 that I was in was on the main street so was quite noisy from road noise etc. Not the hosts fault and it's close to town so what you would expect. Close to the canal which was a nice walk in the day. Felt safe and other occupants were quiet."

"The location was excellent for a city stay, however, some maintenance issues were noted and communication problems. I messaged to confirm my stay and request what to expect on my arrival. I had no response. So i was actually starting to get anxiety. "Was a business stay for a few days. Apartment was was really clean and comfortable. Only issue I had was initially finding it and obtaining check details was a bit of a conundrum. "

All good for a place to lay your head.

"Great over all, needed a place to lay our heads for a night and Novotel did the job well. Everything was clean, warm and comfortable. Handy having parking just 2 minute walk away at £10 for 24 hours... pretty good these days in the middle if a city. Only niggle was the tap and sink setup in the bathroom meant you couldn't get much water in the kettle without using one of the small glasses to top it up... a very British problem and caused more giggles than gnashing of teeth! Free drink at the bar more than made up for it! Uber was easy and about £5 to Welford Road (Tigers rugby ground) We'll stay again for sure."

Nottingham Hilton City Centre Great Stay at

"Second stay with our french bulldog We stayed on Christmas Day / Boxing Day for the Pink Coconut Reunion at the Palis Nightclub Check in was quick and the receptionist can remember her name but she is South American was lovely and really helpful Hotel is in a fab location in the city centre we had everything on the doorstop It’s also pet friendly which is great over as we often travel with our dog Hotel was very quiet but it was Christmas Day Our room was huge with a nice seating area and lovely powerful walk in shower Would definitely stay again "

"The facility is excellent with modern rooms, great staff gym and steam availability. Will certainly go there again. My problem is that the entering the postcode into my satnav dumps you in a pedestrian- only access, the joining details are totally inadequate and we spent a lot of time on finding the access point. But that apart great value and great people. Just help us all get there!"
