"Fantastic old properly but with modern features. Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . "Situated just outside the entrance to the old town, the hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are clean, and overall the location is very quiet. The breakfast buffet was yruly astounding and filled with many delicious options from cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bacon, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were professional and friendly. It was right next to the stadium/arena which is excellent if you are going to a concert etc. The breakfast buffet was very good and there was something for everyone there. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. It would have been nice to have had a bottle of water in the room. It is a bit out of town but for a stay because of a concert, very well located. We had a nice stay. "

"We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return."

"The manager Filip was very kind and knowledgeable! The dining experience was absolutely superb. If I could give more stars, I would. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented! Michael also made our breakfast experience smooth and easy. The staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!"

"My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Strohgäu! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and perfectly organized, making our stay very comfortable. We all enjoyed the breakfast—it was a great way to start the day! The only surprise was the EUR 7.00 per day parking fee, which we weren’t expecting, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. It's truly a lovely place, and we’re glad we chose to stay there!"

"This hotel sits right at the “Kurpark” in Bad Mergentheim. Many of the neighbors are specialty clinics helping people with various illnesses. The quietness and easy pace of the locale is expressed in the hotel as well. The property is well maintained and the personnel is friendly and effective. The breakfast buffet is really good. I heartily recommend this hotel!"
