Comfortable stay in older part of town
Great location in the more historic and quieter part of town. Very clean and comfortable with some new furnishings. Lovely view of the river and mountains. Also good to have some English speaking channels on the tv. The kitchen lets it down a little and is showing its age. Our welcome pack consisted of a few cloths and 3 dishwasher tablets. A little light for a family of 3 for 7 days. The alternative of washing up in the sink was made difficult because there was no plug. A microwave would also have been welcome. We were a little disappointed that we were not allowed to store our suitcases at the property prior to check in because 'there was no room'. However there was over 3 metres of free space on the landing. I understand that the host was under no obligation to help but it would have been a nice gesture especially since it was such a hot day. The host does not respond to emails or SMS text but does respond quickly to Whatsapp. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Lovely location in Interlaken
This property was tricky to find at first, but once we were settled in, it was perfect! Easy walk to the West train station, grocery stores, and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and tranquil, with locals gathering at the river, which is right outside! We watched parasailers every day and sat by the river ourselves for happy hour. Be sure to have the "whatsApp" installed on your phone to contact the property manager when you arrive and have Swiss Francs ready to pay the city tax when you arrive - ours was 3.5 Francs per person per day. We felt very safe at this VRBO and loved staying there. It has steep steps to get inside, so it would be hard for anyone with mobility issues. Thanks!.

Nice "base camp" for exploring the Alpine Region
Very convenient location within walking distance of many restaurants and with a parking space for a car. View of the river from the porch was a pleasant surprise. Just a short drive (or train ride) from many wonderful walking trails in the nearby alpine valleys. Very roomy for the two of us on a week long stay, and well-equipped.

Smells like smoke!
The home was actually beautiful and in such a stunning location. It was a shame that the entire place reeked of smoke, as if someone had been chain-smoking inside for years. We opened the windows to try to air out the smell, but the scent was deep in the carpets/couches and would not come out. Other than that, the beds were very comfortable and the view from the windows was gorgeous. TV would not go up in volume so we had to listen to it very quietly and the couches were very hard. Would have given this place 4 stars were it not for the smell.

Perfect location
This home has a wonderful location, we could easily walk anywhere in town. The home was clean and well equipped including extra blankets. A few minor things, the small room with the great view is not heated so not usable during winter. The view was great from this room and it would be wonderful in the summer. The two single beds were a bit uncomfortable. Overall all a great experience, we would stay here again.
