The place is nice, on the edge of the village, but still close to the train station (about 10 min walk), has enough space to park multiple cars (we had 4 cars and still had plenty of room if needed), got a huge garden with the sauna and fruit trees, there's almost none light pollution at night, so you can see the stars well on a clear night . "This hotel was booked as a stopover on our route back to UK. The hotel was in excellent condition, very clean, modern, with good facilities in the bedroom and in the hotel itself. We used the gym and bar. We had 2 rooms booked for our family of 4 and enjoyed the space each room provided. The staff on reception and in the bar were very friendly and the housekeeping staff were courteous and smiling. A great stopover"

"Great hotel in old town square, walkable to everywhere. Super friendly staff. Hotel private parking is across the street, which makes it ideal. Room was spacious for being an older hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"An all round fantastic hotel with a breathtaking view. Walkable to medieval castle and fantastic restaurants in the hotel and village. Very quiet; we saw deer walk right up to the hotel on the back side. I wish we could have extended our stay longer; will definitely return. "

"Nice hotel for a stop-over. Spacious rooms, good beds, very nice to have breakfast included. One downside during hot summer days: it was very warm in the room and there was no air conditioning. Opening the windows was not sufficient to cool it down and as soon as the sun rose, it was shining on us. Most of the time, Germany doesn’t need airco of course… "
