"The familt thst run the property are not the owners. Very nice family however we did not get the room that we booked. We were told we had to have the basic room rsther than the superior room we chose as thw owner had not setup the Expedia system corectly. Hence the price we paid was only for the basic room. They need to sort this out as would have stayed elsewhere had we known. "

"Wish Willy Cabanas was perfect for us. It’s walking distance to the market and town. The Riverfront cabana has a narrow cement patio overlooking the river. We enjoyed mornings, drinking coffee and watching the wildlife. Julie immediately showed us around town and gave us tips about the community and where to find what we needed. She and Gary were generous with their time and helped us if we needed anything. We were very "

"This delightful spot is perched on a bank with a lovely overlook of the Macal River. The hosts are wonderful and love sharing their deck and Riverview area with their guests. Both Julie and Gary bend over backwards to help their quests have as lovely a stay in the San Ignacio area as oossible. I highly recommend this Vrbo property. "

"Not fancy but had everything that we needed, lovely property with a nice salt water pool and a little bar/snack shack. Could place breakfast order the night before for the time you wanted to eat. Great location as it was not far to San Ignacio, Rio on Pools and the ATM cave tour."

"The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge, a Muy’Ono Resort

"Once you’re at the lodge, it is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the food at the restaurant is amazing. The service is phenomenal. We came for our honeymoon and I am so glad we chose SweetSongs. Transportation is probably the most complicated. We ended up renting a car and had no issues getting to the lodge. There was a steeper section of the road in but our car was smaller and still handled it well. They also offer a shuttle to and from the airport for a fee. The horseback riding tour was life changing and we would highly recommend it."

Fantastic customer service located in lush grounds

"Fantastic customer service from the moment i checked in. Carlos, Sariya and Marisol were Fantastic. Carlos even gave us an evening tour of the lush groubds to searxh for exotic animals. I perfect place to stay to explore the Mayan ruins. Highly recommend this wonderful, beautiful property."

"Mystic River is truly a gem. They treat each guest as family, and because of the small size, you can really get to know the staff. The guides for the excursions were fabulous - knowledgeable, safe, and friendly. The only thing to be aware of is the lack of A/C in the cabanas. Even with fans, it can be quite hot at night. But, we found it entirely worth it! It was a wonderful jungle adventure that my kids will remember forever."

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the beautiful bedspread and red sheets. Staff was friendly and wonderful! Room was clean and very comfortable. We had a car and parking was available and easy. The only complaint is that the pool was not open and there was loud construction going on. Didn’t spend a lot of time in room. Would stay here again. Would highly recommend. "
