"New and clean. Bathtub was extremely slow to drain and low water pressure in the shower, but everything else was great. I love the coffee. "

"Stay overall was good, only bad thing was the extremely loud fan with the heat that had no on/off switch. Had to use ear plugs to sleep the next night. Staff was very apologetic and tried to fix issue. Otherwise, stay was really good. Clean and breakfast was decent for continental at a hotel. "

"Wonderful location amongst the Missouri rolling hills. Well kept home with plenty of room. Will look to reserve again in the future. "

"Pet Friendly, but if you fail to declare your pet at check-in, they charge you $100.00. After our first night, they swapped out the towels but did nothing else, I.e., replenish cups, trash, make bed, etc. After the second night, nothing was done, not even fresh towels. It appeared the room had been untouched. And it was not a busy time for the motel."

Enjoy the beautiful view around the fire on the waterfront

"You could not ask for more beautiful place on the lake with walking paths and privacy. The accommodations for enjoying the outdoor space was great. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We caught several small fish but we eventually found some large Crappies bass, and catfish. It was one week of total relaxation and heaven."

"The place was very clean and the location to lake rathbun is within five minutes. Owner was very nice and easy to get ahold of. We had no issues with our stay here. "
