"If I could I would give this place, and the owners, a 10-star rating! It was chosen for it's convenient location to family we were visiting, but it was so much better! Cozy, welcoming, everything was in order. Better than in order - the hosts treated us like special guests, making sure there were extra personal touches (like a fabulous coffee/tea bar). On a more practical level, the bed was extrememly comfortable for a good night sleep. Kudos to the wonderful hosts that made our stay better than...

"This cottage is conveniently located for visiting Akron, Cuyahoga Valley, and even Canton. We like birding and hiking, and there are many beautiful parks in this area. The cottage is comfortable and lovingly decorated. Great communication with the property manager and owner! My only complaint is not with the cottage itself, but with its description of being “steps from the lake.” While this is technically true, the steps take you to a guardrail behind which are private properties going down...

"The house was everything we needed to visit our son (a student at Kent) and celebrate Thanksgiving together. Toasty cottage with great wildlife watching - ducks, geese and groundhogs close to everything, including great hiking at The Ledges."

"Comfortable home with a very well appointed kitchen; it had a Keurig and an air fryer in addition to the standard appliances! All the pots and pans you could need to cook for a crowd! Charcoal and wood were provided for the grills and fire pit. Many games were available including cornhole. I can’t speak highly enough of this lovely property. Would definitely stay here again!"
