Woodsy Cottage In The Heart Of Union Pier

Our cottage has rustic charm in a woodsy setting, yet less than a mile to the beach and 4 blocks to coffee and breakfast at Nani's. The vaulted pine great room has a woodburning fireplace. The kitchen has vintage beadboard cabinetry with handy island for food preparation or buffet. The screened porch provides an outdoor dining space.
The master bedroom has a modern queen-sized bed, an adjacent bath with new, large shower, and a sitting room. The house sleeps six; the second bedroom has two twin beds, and the third has bunk beds. The second bathroom has a shower and washer/dryer. A den is equipped with a DVD player and games.
We have an outdoor fire area, a Weber gas grill and basketball hoop for your use.

Great place
This is the second year we have stayed here for our teacher wind-down from the school year. It is a great location. The place has everything you might need from beach towels and chairs to walking sticks. Thanks!

Great family stay!
This house is so spacious and stocked with everything you’d need to feel like home. The home smelled a bit musty when we got there but the dehumidifier cleared it up quick. The location is very convenient to explore the area. Thanks for providing such a great space to get away from it all!

This house was very well stocked, very clean and quiet!
They have all the little things you need to make your stay comfortable such as plenty of towels, a well stocked kitchen. The tap water was delicious!

Good location to visit Chicago or the beach
Large and clean space good size for the 4=adults and two teens. Great location to either spend time at the nearby beaches or a quick trip to Chicago. large dining space for meals. Nice shower in master suite.

Second time we have stayed at this house. We just love it. The house is comfortable and cozy and only .8 mile to public access to the lake. It has a great screened porch that is totally secluded. Great for morning coffee or wine in the evening. We will be back for sure

Perfect week together!
My partner and I took our kids here for a quiet beach week and it delivered! A 15 minute walk from the lake and walking distance from a few great spots to eat and drink. House was a perfect size for the four of us—peaceful and good cabin-y vibe. We had a great time checking out restaurants and breweries, playing games together, shooting hoops, swimming, watching movies, and making meals together. The rental made the trip a breeze! Hosts were responsive and hospitable. A perfect trip!

This place was wonderful. The owners anticipated every need—even walking sticks! It is close to the beach (1 mile) and a grocery and bakery shop, We loved the openness of the cottage, and the lovely accoutrements. It was very clean. Our only request it that they fix the grill so it is clean and usable. It was a great place. We hope to return!

Great house and location!
This house was absolutely perfect. We were celebrating my sister in law’s 40th birthday and a group of 6 women stayed in this home with plenty of space. The open concept of the living room/dining room/kitchen was great and we loved using the fireplace in the evenings. We went to several antique shops and St Juliens and the Round Barn wineries and all were within a couple minutes from this house. We even played a crazy game of Taboo the first night 😊 We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back in the future!

Peaceful place for a relaxing weekend
What a lovely property! Nicely landscaped to provide privacy and beautiful views out every window. There were plenty of spots to provide room for each of us to do our own thing as well as a large common area for us to hang out together. It was just what we needed! Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Easily drivable to Warren Dunes, Indiana Dunes and St Joseph for some exploring and sightseeing. Best little extra is the beach about a mile away to watch the sun set! Thank you for sharing this fantastic place for us to gather and reconnect.
