In the heart of Union Pier is located this lovely 5-bedroom 5 and a half bathroom getaway that's within walking distance - about eleven minutes - to the breathtaking lakefront along Lake Michigan. Gather your loved ones and indulge in the endless possibilities this property offers. This property is a main house and a detached coach house. The main house has 3 bedrooms all on main floor (1 king, 2 queens) and a sofa sleeper (full sized with added features for comfort) in the den. The guest house has 1 bedroom upstairs and one bedroom on the lower level. The lower level is not a walk out but does have walls of windows on 2 sides to embrace nature and light. There are 2 full bathrooms in the coach house as well as another sleeper sofa.

Soak up the sun by the sparkling association outdoor pool (RESTRICTED USE...PLEASE READ RULES) or unwind in the private hot tub located in the gorgeous gated courtyard. Enjoy the convenience of free WiFi and a washing machine and dryer, making your stay effortless. As the evening settles in, cozy up by one of FOUR fireplace and lose yourself in a movie on one of the 8 smart TV's.

Venture out and explore the area's top attractions, including the thrilling Four Winds Casino New Buffalo, just a 12-minute drive away, and the breathtaking Warren Dunes State Park, just 15 minutes by car. Back at the property, savor delectable meals prepared in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen, equipped with a wolf gas range and 2 1/2 dishwashers! Gather around the dining table or step outside to the porch and fire pit for an unforgettable alfresco experience.

POOL RULES......10 people at any one time from our house from Sunday evening at 5pm-Friday 2pm. Weekends and holidays are homeowners only. Hot tub however is in our private gated courtyard!

Perfect Spot
I went stayed here with my friends for a golf weekend to celebrate my wedding and it was perfect. We had a fantastic dinner at Timothy’s, which was less than a five minute walk away. Everyone had a wonderful time and we received great communication from the host!

A Definite YES!!
Yes and Yes! Yes, we loved this beautiful, well-appointed home for its comfort, cleanliness and darling neighborhood! Our incredible hosts, Amy and Jeff, were responsive and communicated incredibly well. They even had 2 bikes for us to use for the short ride to beach. We were 10 adults which included a 21 year old who slept on the sleeper sofa in the guest house and said it was comfy and slept til noon! Yes, we'd love to stay here again! We just need to stay longer next time!!

If I could give this beautiful and spacious home and its, excellent, excellent host -10 stars - I would ,undoubtedly! Just a stone’s throw from heaven!
Put plainly, this home is the perfect spot for an adult get away. Every bedroom has a full bath, the hot tub is spectacular, and you could not ask for more comfortable accommodations. This is my 5th stay at this warm and spacious home - and we hope to return again next spring!

Fantastic Stay at Stones Throw!
We had a wonderful time at Stone’s Throw!! The home is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The property and design are elegant and comfortable, and it’s just well thought out and cozy too. (We were up for a girls weekend, and as an added bonus, we especially loved that there were bathrooms with every room!). It was perfect! Would absolutely stay again!!

Beautiful Fall getaway
This is our second time back to the property and just love it. It’s on a quiet tree lined street and the Fall colors were amazing. The property is so elegant and love the cozy feel of a home - beautifully decorated and the beds are so comfortable. Amy, the host, is the best of the best and so communicative. Some of my favorites at the house - screened in porch with fireplace, the kitchen (fully stocked), front porch swing, the beds, and the backyard. Truly a remarkable property and a fantastic location. We will be back!!

Fantastic home for family beach vacation
Large comfortable home with spacious and well stocked high-end kitchen along with nice grill made for great family dinners. The beach is a short walk, the pool is nice, the landscaping all around it keeps the heat away, and the hot tub is relaxing. All the furniture and bedding are high quality and comfortable, and each bedroom with their own (very nice) bathrooms are appreciated by all generations. Amy is a great host. We hope to stay here again.

Amazing property - clean and great location!
This house was perfect for a girls weekend! It has all of the amenities we needed (and more) - a large kitchen, screened in room with comfy furniture, a hot tub, and plenty of seating around the fireplace in the backyard. The guest house was great as we all had a comfortable bedroom to sleep in. You can tell the owners treat this home as their own. The host, Amy, was very responsive and checked in with me before, during, and after the trip. I highly recommend - we could not have asked for a better house for a girls weekend and look forward to coming back!

Wonderful stay
My family and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this property. It brought us all together but still allowed for our individual space. The kitchen was an exceptional gathering area where we all congregated during meal prep. The sound system offered us the ambiance necessary for the occasion. The grounds were literally ‘heavenly’. You can hear the train infrequently which only added to the unique experience.

Perfect weekend getaway
Stunning property true to description and extremely clean. The house (and guest house) has such beautiful detail and design. Perfect layout to gather in multiple areas inside and out. Great location for the beach, wineries, breweries, and restaurants. We felt truly relaxed, comfortable, and at home. The hot tub and porch swing are a must! Amy was by far the best homeowner we have worked with. Great communication and very gracious. We will be back for a much longer stay!

I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book this property again. It worked out fantastic for our extended family including 4 kids under 11. Owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating. The courtyard would be amazing in the summer but also worked out well in winter with a hot tub and fire place on a snowy night. Easy 5+ stars.

The only thing that could've been nicer during our stay at this beautiful home was the weather! Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this warm and comfortable home. Amy could not have been nicer! Great communication, flawless check-in. Perfect fall getaway!
Thank you, Amy, for such a wonderful weekend away! We really enjoyed the long fall weekend at Stones Throw. Just a quick trip from Chicago, the house is perfectly located within walking distance to both the beach and restaurants/coffee. While we had absolutely perfect weather all weekend, we really enjoyed our evenings at home in front of one of the many fireplaces and on the screened porch. The house was clean, cozy and perfectly appointed with all the amenities to make for a weekend away from home. Thank You!!

What a wonderful week we just had! This was our eighth year renting a home in the New Buffalo- Union Pier area and this house, by far, has been the nicest. From the get go, dealing with Amy was just plain fun! She made the rental process easy and all in all, was the most enjoyable experience we’ve had. I can’t say enough about the house and it’s decor - it looks like something you’d find in “House Beautiful”

Fabulous birthday celebration
This was the perfect house for my milestone birthday celebration with friends! It was designed for entertaining - from the kitchen, the bar, surround sound, to the outdoor patio and hot tub! Everyone enjoyed having their own bathrooms en-suite as well. We had a private chef come in and had dinner in the enclosed patio that was amazing! And the location is great too - walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Thank you Amy for being such a wonderful host! We will definitely be back!
