A well-appointed, clean cabin in a beautiful spot. Would go again for the quiet setting with lots of wildlife and the amazing view of so many stars at night!
This cabin is exceptional! The attention to details was top notch. If you’re looking for a quiet, private, scenic place to unplug and relax the Hideaway Ridge cabin is for you. We loved this place, it feels like a slice of heaven…
Beautiful place to stay. Everything was wonderful and the owners leave nothing out you might need. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back. The kids loved the yard and being able to run around and play in the wide open space with no fear of cars or dogs. Can’t wait to go back again.
As soon as we pulled up to the property, we were taken aback by how beautiful and peaceful it was! The cabin was super clean and cozy, perfect for a getaway. We enjoyed waking up at sunrise and drinking our coffee on the front porch swing and watching the deer and wild turkeys. The property is super close to Moncove Lake so we spent some time kayaking and enjoying the park. We loved the touch of the automatic twinkle lights at dark and had the most relaxing stay!! Would definitely stay again! Beautiful property!!
We stayed at the cabin so that we could travel to the Greenbrier and they definitely almost stole the show! Grey views, very private, and well maintained. We were very excited to see snacks and coffee pods available but didn't get a chance to use the s'mores because of the weather but what a nice touch. The only downside is getting there but it's a mountain cabin so we expected the drive to be a little rough so don't let that deture you! It's well worth going and we plan on staying again!
To be honest, my family didn’t want to write this review because they wanted to keep this cabin for ourselves. 😄
Our stay here at the cabin was absolutely perfect! If you want to get away from the everyday stress and work, this is your place. The cabin is secluded, and you will be able to enjoy absolute peace and quiet, with the exception of crickets chirping and birds singing. From enjoying our morning coffee on the front porch to roasting marshmallows at the fire pit out back, the cabin did not disappoint.
The cabin is clean and spotless and provides you with all the necessities.
Benny and Tammy are absolutely great hosts! We can’t wait to visit again!
This cabin surrounded on all sides by nature had an aura of serenity. Waking up to peace and quiet and sitting in a rocker on the front porch with coffee was soul soothing. Us girls just rocked and drank our coffee in silence as we watched the mist from the mountains clear, and the does and fawns graze in the meadow close by. Tammy and Benny have a beautiful place and we were blessed in being able to stay there. They met our every need and want plus some. I wish our stay could have been longer. We will stay there again. This is a must go to, if you are wanting or needing a bit of serenity in your life. Thank you so much Tammy and Benny for having us, it was a most pleasurable experience. Kathy and Nancy
