"Very disappointing. We got a standard room, the bed was so uncomfortable, you could feel all the springs through the mattress. There was no pressure in the bathroom (we did mention it). Be aware that every night we were there the place right next to it plays gig very loudly until 1/2am so not a chance of an early night as they don’t have double glazing. The rooftop itself is great and the food very enjoyable. The staff up there was nice. "

"Clean and spacious room, bathroom was clean as well but no hot shower when I used it. They have a very nice living room and dining area to chill in. There is a kitchen but cooking is not allowed. About 10-15 mins walk to the Plaza, bus terminal, and the cable car. Close to many things but feels a tiny little bit like an uphill trek."

"Wooden wasi was onze eerste kennismaking met Bolivia; de eigenaar haalde ons van t vliegveld (tegen betaling; goed geregeld); sjouwde onze koffers, belangrijk op die hoogte na laag Nederland. Kamer, bedden en sanitair prima; eigenaren zorgden voor koffie en eenvoudig ontbijt meenemen in de bus en cocabladeren thee. Ook goed tegen hoogteziekte. "I booked the hotel based on the photos. Be aware that the Onkel Inn in La Paz is NOT next to the water, nor does it have floor to ceiling patio doors leading out to the water, a huge reception area or a spa tub. "Great location, right next to the Museo Etnografica and not a far walk at all from San Francisco Square. I arrived 1 hour before check in time but they let me check in early. Showers were warm/hot though there was only one temperature and it was a little cramped. Some parts of the bathroom were a bit dingy but mostly quite clean!
